In a tough game, with the A Team facing several injuries, the Pioneers fell 26-0 against Masco.  Turnovers prevented the team from getting on the scoreboard, but the defense did find their groove in the second half as they held Masco to zero points after halftime.  James Sharkey and Devin Deluties ran well for the Pioneer offense while Conor Ryan and newcomer Chase Goldberg contributed many tackles for the defense.

The B Team had a heck of a game winning 38-0 over Amesbury and bringing their season record to 2-1. This was a total team effort with 9 different kids scoring for the team. Joey Cucciniello started things off with a 60 yard TD run, along with AJ Chiaradonna catching a pass from Eddie Kinney. Dylan Greenstein, Cole Hawes and Kyle Schmitz also scored TDs. Devon Oconnor, Dhimitri Dono, Sam Scimemi and Jimmy Driscoll contributed with scoring 2 point conversions.

The C Team lost a hard fought game against a very good Masco team 14-0. The offense controlled the clock and line of scrimmage for most of the game, holding the ball the entire 3rd quarter. The defense only allowed 3 first downs the entire game. This was a total team effort. The C team will look to bounce back this week against Pentucket.

The JVC team started off slow this week.  It was hampered by multiple miscues in the first quarter of play.  Nevertheless, they battled hard to overcome the early setbacks and remained close throughout the game. The final score was Masco 12 Lynnfield 6.

The D team earned a hard fought win over a tough Masco squad.  The defense continued to keep the team in the game and Masco off the scoreboard.  The D team had one passing TD and key tackles from Michael Hubbard and Nolan Heffron.  The final score was 6-0 Pioneers.

The A, B and JVC teams will face off against Manchester/Essex  this weekend, with the C team matching up against Pentucket.  All games will be played at Lynnfield High School.  The D team has a bye this week.
