The 2018 CAYFL cheerleading competition will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at North Andover High School – 430 Osgood Street, North Andover, MA 01845.  Adults $15.00, Senior $10.00 Students $5.00 – CASH ONLY (Day or night competition).  Adults $20.00, Senior/Students $15.00 (Both competitions).  Cheerleaders in uniform and children under 3 are free.

The cheer competition will be split into 2 sessions:

Session 1: Mascot and D teams start at 11:00 am and end with awards at approximately 2:00 pm.
Session 2: C and A teams start at 5:00 pm and end with awards at approximately 8:00 pm.

Parents, spectators can arrive any time after 9:00 am for Session 1 and any time after 3:00 pm for Session 2. Seating cannot be saved. No noise makers, shakers or poms allowed.

We have scheduled buses to transport the girls to the competition. Parents will not escort the girls into the building. Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation home once the competition has ended.

Bus 1: Mascot and D teams meet at Town Hall parking lot at 7:15 am to depart at 7:30 am
Bus 2: C and A teams meet at Town Hall parking lot at 1:40 pm to depart at 1:50 pm

Important Information:

Uniform: Cheerleaders should wear their full uniform with NAVY & GOLD PIONEER BOWS to this competition. Please make sure your daughter is wearing white no-show socks and clean white sneakers. Absolutely no jewelry or nail polish is allowed the day of the competition. The judges are very strict about this and will deduct points if seen. For girls that wear eyeglasses, they will need a safety strap.

Once the bus arrives at the field house, the girls will remain in the cafeteria with team moms and coaches prior to the competition. Only cheerleaders and pre-approved coaches are allowed in this area.

Once the competition begins, the cheerleaders will be in an assigned area, where they will remain until the conclusion of the competition.

The end of the competition is very loud and crowded. Team moms and coaches will remain with the girls until a parent collects them. Please help us by talking with your daughters to be sure they remain with their coaches and do not leave the team.

  • Action Photography:  A disk of team performance pictures can be pre-purchased at the cost of $10/cheerleader. If interested, please reach out to your coaches/team parents. They will be coordinating this purchase on a team by team basis. Order forms and payment will be collected by a CAYFL representative at registration.

Spotlight Competition:

For a $5 fee, the girls are invited to enter into a spotlight competition for jumps (session 1) and tumbling (session 2) at the end of the competition. Awards will be given to the top jumper and tumbler. Coaches/Girls/Parents can sign up and pay prior to the competition.
